> OnTheStacks.dev is the public home of OnTheStacks machine-facing infrastructure and its existing Machine Presence products.

  Read-only inspection of publicly observable website signals and source evidence. The Inspector does not sign in, send cookies, run site JavaScript, or submit forms to inspected websites.
- OnTheStacks Machine Presence Agent: https://agent.onthestacks.dev/
  Public-preview human interface that turns Machine Presence evidence into prioritized findings, a human-approved remediation plan, bounded artifacts, and verification. It does not mutate external websites, and V1 does not expose an autonomous Agent API.

The human Inspector and MCP interface use the same inspection engine and normalized result contract. MCP inspection is read-only and accepts public HTTP or HTTPS URLs. No account or API key is required for the current public interface.
